    What Missional May Look Like

    I saw this on FB and couldn’t shake it all day. At first I laughed but there is a serious lesson to be learned. At a glance ‘third world’ is calling the ‘first world’s’ gospel into question. Obviously no one knows the inner workings of the photo but someone’s description all but nails what American Evangelicalism has become. It also could describe what missional theology can become in the hands of the privileged. The reality is that many would quickly label an emphasis on meeting the physical needs, “social gospel”
